Note Rimbo Panti Nature Reserve is designated as a forest area with a decree of the Dutch Indies Government No. GB. 34 Stbl. 420, dated June 18, 1932 with an area of 2550 Ha.

Then, Based on the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture No.348 / Kpts / Um / 6/1979, dated January 7, 1979 with an area of 2,830.00 Hectares, part of Rimbo Panti Nature Reserve is made of Nature Tourist Park area of 570 Ha.

Identification Rimbo Panti Nature Tourist Park, has a relatively original ecosystem is still intact. The forest vegetation is quite good, since there has never been exploitation, disturbance of wild cultivation and no genetic erosion. Vegetation that dominates this type of lowland rain forest include: Meranti (Shorea sp.), Kenari (Canaria vulqare), Jati (Verbenaceae), Sawo (Manilkara zapota), Coffee-? Copies (Rubiaceae), Duku (Lansium domainsum), Durian (Durio zibethinus Murray), Tui (Radermachera gigantea), Kendal (Cordia dichotama Forst), Kelumpang (Sterculia foetida), Cambodian-Cambodian Trees (Apocynaceae) and Beringin (Ficus sp.). In addition there are several types of bamboo, plants of shrubs, orchids and grasses.
