Note The forerunner of Rajolelo Bengkulu Forest Park development, stems from the plan of the Governor of Bengkulu at the end of 1982, which was followed up with the establishment of Bengkulu Bengkulu Construction Management Agency based on the Decree of the Governor of KDH Level I Bengkulu No. 1. 168 Year 1985, while the location set by the Minister of Forestry in 1988 is a group of Tourism Forest puguk frightening village of Tanjung Terdana Pondok Kelapa District North Bengkulu Regency.

Furthermore, through the letter of Governor No.533 in 1991 and the Decree of the Minister of Forestry no. 126 / Kpts-II / 1991 designate forest group Puguk frightened as Natural Tourism Forest with an area of 1,122 Ha.

The name of Rajolelo Forest Park was taken from a Bengkulu hero based on the approval of the Provincial DPRD of Dati I Bengkulu through Decision Letter no. 26 / Kpts / DPRD / 1995 dated 7 December 1995.

Identification Types of plants that are used as firewood there are 21 species. Leban (Vitex pinnata) is the type most widely used as firewood by the community. While the potential species as medicinal plants there are 14 types. However, only 3 types are still used as medicinal plants, namely Kemutun (Cratoxylon formasum), Grasshopper (Dysoxylum arborescens) and Kapung (Oroxylum indicum).

Meanwhile, the types of plants that are used as wood craft there are 6 types, namely Leban (Vitex pinnata), Ubo (Glochidion arborescens), bamboo (Giganthochloa apus), rattan sap (Daemonorops trichrous), bengkuang (Pandanus atrocarpus), and rattan kesur (Calamus ornatus).

Some types of plants are also used for building materials such as wooden girls (Cinnamomum porrectum), wood pule (Alstonia scholaris), and wood sungkai (Peronema canescens).

Amphibians: Frogs of Bengkulu endemic species are Bufo claviger or Bengkulu Frog. Rana nicobariensis, Occidozyga five, Limnonectes bosschai, Shannon-Wiener, Rana nicobariensis, Fejervarya limnocharis, and Fejervarya cancrivora.
